Vitamin C contains 100% ascorbic acid and is a supplementary feed for older horses and horses in training. The horse produces vitamin C itself, but older horses may have a reduced vitamin C production, just as hard-working horses consume more vitamin C than they have time to produce and can therefore benefit from extra supplements. 3-5 ml (2-4 g) per 100 kg body weight or based on calculated feed state.
