Preop from DAX is a preoperative hand disinfection intended to disinfect hands before surgery, and to prevent the spread of disease-causing microorganisms. The surgical disinfection has an effect against bacteria, fungus and all enveloped viruses such as HIV, Hepatitis B and C. In addition, it also has a documented effect on TB and certain naked viruses.
The hand disinfectant has an 80% alcohol content and is composed of four different alcohols with ethanol as the main active ingredient, and with the addition of n-propanol for prolonged effect. In addition, it contains glycerin which moisturizes the skin and meets the surgical standard EN12791.
The surgical disinfection is quickly absorbed by the skin and does not stick. When using, dose abundantly, at least 4.5 milliliters and massage in hands, wrists, forearms and finally elbows for 45 seconds. Then take another 4.5 ml of Preop and repeat the procedure. The skin should be moist throughout the disinfection phase. Then allow your hands and arms to air dry.
