Colostrum meter refractometer VetProvide

The refractometer is used to check the quality of colostrum from horses, cows, sheep and goats. The quality of colostrum is measured using the Brix scale. It is measured as a percentage with a cut-off value of 22%. An IgG concentration of 22% or more is considered a good quality of colostrum and corresponds to an IgG of 50 g/l.
